UNCOOL is a four-year photographic project by Debora Brune, bringing together the visual language of fashion with contemporary portraiture to examine how bodies are seen, framed and valued.

Portraying 27 people with disabilities and visible differences, the work challenges the ways bodies outside conventional ideals are represented within fashion and visual culture. Disability is neither hidden nor made the sole subject; it exists alongside clothing, posture, skin, gesture, light and gaze.
